Official ad below: The Department of Psychology at The University of Wisconsin - Madison seeks two outstanding tenured or tenure-track faculty in cognitive science beginning August, 2004. Tenure-track candidates require Ph.D. prior to start of appointment. Tenured candidates must have demonstrated excellence in research, teaching and service. Our emphasis is on excellence, independent of specific research area or method, including candidates whose work incorporates developmental, computational, and/or cognitive neuroscience research. In addition to excellent resources within the Psychology Department, faculty have the opportunity to capitalize on a productive network that links Psychology to specialized research units on campus. These units include the W.M. Keck Laboratory for Brain Imaging and Behavior, the Center for Neuroscience, the Institute on Aging, the Harlow Primate Laboratory, the Wisconsin Regional Primate Center, The Wisconsin Center for Education Research, and the Waisman Center, devoted to basic and clinical research in a wide range of developmental processes and disorders.
