UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER LECTURER B/SENIOR LECTURER IN AUDIOLOGY (REF 836/03) The Human Communication and Deafness Group of the University of Manchester wishes to make a further appointment in audiology to join an energetic team with an international research reputation, and to further strengthen the team's provision of research and teaching leadership in this exciting and expanding field. The people appointed will have an interest in higher education and will wish to develop their research career; they will be research-active, with a record of research and publication, and will be expected to make a significant contribution to the research profile of the Group. Teaching and supervision duties will involve undergraduate and postgraduate students on the new BSc Audiology and the restructured MSc and Diploma in Audiology, as well as the possibility of contributions to the Group's other programmes (Speech and Language Therapy and Deaf Education). A professional qualification in clinical audiology would be an advantage; those with the appropriate clinical scientist registration will be appointed to the clinical salary scales.
