The people appointed will have an interest in higher education and will wish to develop their research career; they will be research-active, with a record of research and publication, and will be expected to make a significant contribution to the research profile of the Group. Teaching and supervision duties will involve undergraduate and postgraduate students on the new BSc Audiology and the restructured MSc and Diploma in Audiology, as well as the possibility of contributions to the Group's other programmes (Speech and Language Therapy and Deaf Education). A professional qualification in clinical audiology would be an advantage; those with the appropriate clinical scientist registration will be appointed to the clinical salary scales.
