Studies include multi-level approaches to cortical processing (cell-circuit-systems-behavior) including acoustic learning tasks, memory modulation, stress hormones, the involvement of the amygdala and the cholinergic system. Experience in electrophysiology is preferred. The positions are available starting September 1, 2002. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Appointments are for a minimum of two years with possible continuation thereafter. UCI has a rich and extensive neuroscience community, including the Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory and the UCI Research Unit in the Hearing and Speech Sciences. The University of California is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
