Please forgive this further comment on the Subject "In search of an article,"
which should be my last:

The JASA search engine works at any university that has an institutional
subscription to JASA-Online.  If unavailable, student membership is worth
considering: For any student who is enrolled in a college or university
for half time or more, the dues are only $35 per year.  Other options
are posted at:
