Christian Spevak's phrase was conjunctive:

        holding a long-standing reputation" ...

His lead phrase was:

        ... "Many young academics of the new generation,
        full of innovative ideas" ...

Actually, I'll place my order simply to see what we old farts
may be missing with our "long stranding reputations".
