        Here is a reminder that the abstract
deadline for the Newport Beach meeting is July 28.

        THE 140-th MEETING OF THE
        ACOUSTICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA
        NEWPORT BEACH, CA,
        3-8 DECEMBER, 2000

There will be 39 special sessions. Among them are:

The Newport Beach meeting incorporates Noise-Con 2000.
   It is joint with INCE.
