Apart from excellent facilities for human experimental, neuropsychological, and computational research, the CBU also has good access to PET and fMRI (3T) neuro-imaging facilities at the University of Cambridge Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre.=20 The first of these posts is a Career-track position (Ref: CBU/CT99), open to scientists with established international reputations, who are interested in leading an innovative language research programme in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Up to two support posts may be associated with this position. Starting salary is likely to be in the range =A325,000 to =A335,000. The Post-doctoral (Ref: CBU/PD99) appointment is likely to be at MRC Band 4, for an initial appointment for 3 years, with the possibility of transfer to a career track position. Starting salaries are negotiable in the range =A315,500 to =A324,000 per annum. The Research Assistant (Ref: CBU/RA99) appointment will be to MRC Band 5. Starting salary will be in the range of =A313,000 - =A315,000 (subject to qualifications and experience), rising through a performance related pay scheme to =A324,800. Successful applicants will be likely to have good degrees in psychology or related disciplines, preferably with some experience in cognitive neuroscience. All three positions are supported by a performance related pay scheme and MRC Pension plan. Some financial assistance with relocation may be available for the Career- Track and Postdoctoral positions.
