Dear List, An acquaintance of mine has done an experiment that he regards as unique. An audio oscillator presents a sine wave with inverted (180 degree) phase to each ear. The oscillator is swept over a wide frequency range. Amazing and unexplained results are supposed to be heard by the subject. I would appreciate knowing if this has been done before, and if so, by whom? And what is the amazing result? Thanks, John Bates Email to AUDITORY should now be sent to AUDITORY(at)lists.mcgill.ca LISTSERV commands should be sent to listserv(at)lists.mcgill.ca Information is available on the WEB at http://www.mcgill.ca/cc/listserv
