I don't know about the garbled noise illusion, but the Deutsch CD (Philomel) has a high-low pattern that people report hearing various words when they listen to it long enough. I suppose one could suggest words and they might "hear" them, but the commentary doesn't imply this. That might be interesting to try with the high-low pattern, which was just the words high and low repeatedly alternated in the same way as her (famous) octave illusion. I'd also be interested in knowing about any other illusion tapes/CDs. (Other than the list of ones recently posted to this group, of course.) Rebecca Mercuri.
