Some of my thrid year students would like to run some categorical speech experiments. Are there any synthetic speech files available to download ffrom the Internet/WWW? For example, the continuum of /ba/ to /pa/ by manipulating VOT synthetically. If there aren't, should there be? Something like a bank of speech/sound files would provide a good resource for replicating experiments internationally. Best wishes, Kevin L.
