The successful candidate will undertake research on aspects of the psychophysics of hearing including such phenomena as pitch, auditory selective attention, binaural hearing or masking phenomena, and will be supervised by Professor Ray Meddis. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake teaching duties (such as tutorials, seminars and laboratory classes) within the Psychology undergraduate programme. The award of the studentship covers tuition fees and a bursary equivalent to the ESRC basic rate for up to three years, The closing date for applications is 31st March, 1996.
