Dear AUDITORY list members, I would like some advice on which headphones to purchase. Our auditory lab basically needs some state-of-the-art headphones for making psychoacoustic experiments with. Needless to say, our funds are not unlimited, but a fair sum would be available for this purchase. I am aware of the thread of emails which ran on the list in late 1995/ early 1996 about Sennheiser's HD414, but this model is no longer available as far as I know. So if you have any good experiences with a particular model that you would like to recommend, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
