My request for suggestions on good books on psychophysics gave 20 answer
s and I would like to thank everybody for their time. The 6 most quoted
(out of 11) was "Fundamentals of Hearing" by Yost, "An introduction to t
he psychology of hearing" by Moore, "The physics and psychophysics of
music" by J. G. Roederer, "Listening" by Stephen Handel, "Psychophysics:
Methods, Theory, and application" by George Gescheider and "Sensation
and Perception" by Coren, Ward and Enns. Thanks again for your help
