Lois Elliott, Professor of Cummunication Disorders at Northwestern University, died last weekend in Evanston, Illinois after suffering from a stroke. Lois has no surviving family and she did not wish to have a service. Many of you might recall Lois's early psychoacoustic's work on temporal masking, her years at the NIH, her directorship of the Audiology Program at Northwestern, and her recent work on speech and language processing in school-aged children. Addtional information can probably be obtained from the Department of Communications Disorder at Northwestern. Bill Yost
