On the subject of biophysics of sound production, do
check out the Music Therapy literature, which has a
wealth of research on this subject. The NAMT and AAMT
are the two official organizations. Publications are available in
many medical libraries, as well as at the Music Therapy certification
granting institutions. Here in the Philadelphia area, Sr. Jean Anthony,
PhD, department chair of Music Therapy at Immaculata College (610/
647-4400 x3490) is a resource for information on biofeedback in
music and other related subjects.
