Focus will be on auditory displays, and the array of perception, technology, and application areas these encompass. Topics will include auditory exploration of data via sonification and audification; sound in immersive interfaces and teleoperation; real-time monitoring of multivariate data; and data handling and sound synthesis for auditory display systems. Hardware and software demos. Attendance is open to all, with no membership or affiliation requirements. Location -------- The conference will be held at the Eldorado Hotel, 309 W. San Francisco Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 1-800-955-4455. Registration ------------ Conference registration fees include all sessions, special events, and conference proceedings. The fee for corporate and academic participants is $300 ($325 after September 15). The fee for students and postdoctoral fellows is $150 ($175 after September 15).
