Dear List,
            THANK YOU ALL for your participation in the recent
ASA conference, and for your feedback about it.
        Seems like we witnessed a subtle revolution, with bridges
being forged between music, speech, physiology, psychoacoustics
and computer science.
      A few years ago, even one session on Auditory Organization
would have been highly unusual to find at a meeting of the
Acoustical Society.  The volume of papers presented on this topic
over the five sessions, and their range/ breadth/ depth/ scope
clearly reflect the spirit of the times (the "Zeitgeist"!)
     Hope we can continue to have more fora for discussion and
information sharing in the future.
