Dear list, Does anyone out there have an algorithm for synthesizing narrow-band noise with a very steep skirt? I know that one way to do so is to use sine waves in random phases and densely packed in the spectrum. Does anyone have a C program that does this? Are any other methods available? I know that asking the list is the lazy person's way of getting answers to questions like this, but what the hell. - Al Bregman
