Dear Dr. Bregman Regarding auditory tests and stroke, a new online database called "CAIRSS" is available to search for literature pertaing to music and medicine which would include articles on this subject. The logon sequence can be obtained from Dr. Don Hodges (Univ. of Texas-San Antonio) at "dhodges(at)xxxxxxxxxx". Another online database for music and brain articles comes from the "Music Brain Information Center" at UC-Irvine and is directed by Norm Weinberger and Gordon Shaw. Gordon can be reached at "gshaw(at)xxxxxxxx" for the logon instructions. I am a doctoral student in cognitive neuroscience at the university of Texas at Dallas and am studying music functioning in brain-damaged populations. My dissertation involves music memory in Alzheimer's patients. [name hidden by request]
