Only one minor comment about the experiment, involving how you will instruct the subjects in the "non speech" bias condition. Telling them that you are considering these sounds as a computer generated warning signal for the workplace still puts the sounds in the context of a message, albeit a non-verbal one, and may not provide the full measure of biasing that you desire. I might suggest telling them that they are different computer generated musical instruments, and perhaps mix them with such.
