Thread-topic: N100 cortical sources

Dear List,

Can anyone suggest an up-to-date reference on cortical sources of the auditory-evoked human N100 event-related potential? (Some sites say there are sources not only in auditory cortex, but also in frontal and motor cortices, which surprised me.)

Pointers to animal studies are also welcome, though I'm particularly interested in human data.
