Re: Rap vocals

Hi Robert,

in the past we have used Tency Music (https://www.tencymusic.com/), a karaoke service with very high quality tracks, including voice (all separate stems) - see for example https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/psychology/articles/10.3389/fpsyg.2021.769663/full. You can just get in touch  with them and agree on a research or a commercial use of their tracks - they are very kind and nice people!

Subject: [AUDITORY] Rap vocals

Dear colleagues

We are looking for audio recordings of rap or hip-hop music that contain only the vocalizations, without any instrumental background. Does anybody know of such a database?

Alternatively, any databases of a capella singing in general would also be useful, if you can recommend any.

Thank you for your help and best wishes

Robert
