[AUDITORY] WASPAA 2025 Call for Papers and New Venue Announcement

Dear all,
(apologies for cross-posting)

We are glad to invite the community to submit their work to the 2025 IEEE Workshop on Applications of Signal Processing to Audio and Acoustics (WASPAA-25). WASPAA, a highly-regarded bi-annual event hosted by the Audio and Acoustic Signal Processing Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society since 1986, has long been one of the top venues for audio signal processing research.

This year marks a historic change of location, for the first time in the workshop’s history. We are delighted to announce that WASPAA has found a new home for 2025, and that the next WASPAA will be held from October 12th to October 15th, 2025 at the Granlibakken Tahoe resort near Lake Tahoe, in Tahoe City, CA.

The Lake Tahoe area is known for its outstanding beauty, which does not pale in comparison to WASPAA’s former home on the East coast. We hope that this new location will successfully reproduce the beloved atmosphere that has characterized WASPAA since its inception, with an intimate setting that encourages fruitful conversations between leading researchers in audio and acoustic signal processing from both academia and industry.

For information on paper submission, please check the call for papers, the important dates, and the author guidelines on our website, waspaa.com.

To keep in mind:
- The deadline for submissions is April 23, 2025 (23:59 AOE time).
- Submitted papers can be updated until April 30, 2025 (23:59 AOE time).
- Our review process will be double-blind, without any black-out period.
- There will again be significant travel grant support for students and early-career professionals, with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
