New for this year, we are looking for PhD applicants who can assist with teaching on our MSc Language Sciences programme. Teaching studentships are also available in the areas of Psychology, Psychology and Language Sciences, Statistics for psychology,
Qualitative Methods, Sustainability, and more. Teaching studentships are only available to UK, full-time PhD applicants who start in October 2025. They cover PhD tuition fees and come with a ~£20k per year tax-free stipend. Applicants should have completed
a relevant MSc programme and have a good understanding of statistics. The deadline for applications is in early January, but applicants must have support from their proposed supervisor before applying. If you are interested in applying, please contact a potential
supervisor to agree on a PhD project in the first instance with the following:
(1) a brief CV
(2) a clear statement that you are interested in studying for a PhD, stating when you could start
(3) a brief statement of your research question or interest, and how you think the question could be investigated.
