Are you passionate about combining music cognition with biology and cognitive science? Join our interdisciplinary team for a challenging and rewarding postdoctoral position (1 fte / 15 mo) where you will contribute to our research project “Unravelling our
capacity for music” [See detailed information at https://osf.io/yxfv4/ under the heading WP5].
In this role, you’ll engage with the latest cross-cultural and cross-species studies on musicality, bridging fields like comparative musicology, evolutionary musicology, and cognitive biology. You’ll help explore how music cognition relates to the biological
foundations of musicality, comparing human musicality with that of primates, birds, and other animals.
