[AUDITORY] ISAAR 2025: SAVE THE DATE August 20-22 2025, Denmark

Dear colleagues,

We are excited to announce the upcoming International Symposium on Auditory and Audiological Research (ISAAR 2025), which will take place from, 20-22 August 2025 in Nyborg, Denmark. More information can be found at www.isaar.eu.

ISAAR 2025 will feature four overarching themes, each organized into symposium sessions with the following invited speakers:

  1. The auditory brain
Ed Bartlett, Marc Schönwiesner, Anne-Lise Giraud, Giovanni Di Liberto

  2. Multisensory perception and communication in real-world environments
Janina Fels, Stephanie Lovich, Christopher Davis, Ivana Konvalinka

  3. Computational audiology, AI and auditory profiling
Nicholas Lesicka, Mareike Buhl, Jenelle Feather, Tobias Goehring

  4. Novel hearing technologies and compensation strategies
Varsha Rallapalli, Zheng-Hua Tan, Richard Hendriks, Ina Kodrasi

We are also very happy to announce a keynote lecture by Jessica Monaghan.

In addition to the symposium sessions, we welcome contributions on a broad range of topics, including perceptual and physiological measures of auditory function, measures of hearing loss, auditory modeling, hearing-instrument signal processing, aided outcome measures, multi-sensory speech perception, communication in complex environments, advances in neurotechnology, and cognitive auditory neuroscience. Contributions that align with the symposium themes may be considered for either a contributed talk or a poster presentation during one of our extended poster sessions. Contributions outside the four main themes will be considered exclusively for poster presentations.

This event is supported by the William Demant Foundation.

Abstract submission and conference registration will open on 15 March 2025. We invite scientific contributions from across the fields of auditory and audiological research.

Abstract submission deadline: 15 May 2025

Notification of acceptance: 15. June 2025
