[AUDITORY] Clinical Assistant Professor of Audiology position at University of Illinois



The University of Illinois Department of Speech and Hearing Science (SHS) (http://shs.illinois.edu) is seeking to recruit an outstanding audiologist for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position as a Clinical Assistant Professor, with opportunity for advancement.  Responsibilities are to provide clinical supervision to Au.D. students, schedule/coordinate placements in-house and at external sites, and develop a clinical caseload of direct service. Responsibilities also include clinical instruction, contributing to teaching, program development, conducting clinical administrative tasks and departmental service. There are also opportunities to contribute to collaborative research.  Applicants must hold a terminal degree for clinical practice in Audiology, have certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), be eligible for an Illinois Audiology license, and have met the 2020 ASHA certification standards for providing clinical instruction and supervision by start date of July 1, 2024.  Full announcement and application instructions can be found at https://jobs.illinois.edu.   The U of I is an EEO Employer/Vet/Disabled go.illinois.edu/EEO that participates in the federal e-Verify program and participates in a background check program focused on prior criminal or sexual misconduct history.
