The Department of Psychology at the University of Lübeck is looking to hire a Research Scientist (m/f/d).
The position is available for 3 years, preferably starting February 2024. The possibility of obtaining a doctorate degree is given.
The position is situated in the established research group "Auditory Cognition" (Prof. Jonas Obleser) under the supervision of Dr. phil. Sarah Tune. The position is part of a research project funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG). The project aims to better understand how perceptual inference changes with age by studying the behavioural and brain dynamics of human speech perception. The project will feature a combination of in-depth behavioural measurements, functional neuroimaging (fMRI) and computational modelling. The position does not come with any teaching obligations.

The position is part of a research project funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG). The project aims to explore auditory attention and its neural bases. To this end, we will record behavioral and electroencephalography (EEG) data in younger and older adults to investigate the neuro-cognitive mechanisms underlying capture of attention and suppression of distraction. The position does not come with any teaching obligations.
