Position description
The post-doc will work in the UT CARE Lab (https://slhs.utexas.edu/research/ut-care-lab/home) housed
in the Department of Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences, the University of Texas at Austin.
The candidate will work on projects investigating human hearing and computational auditory models, such as cochlear and efferent auditory system. The candidate will be encouraged to develop independent
projects that may include related techniques, such as auditory evoked potentials, OAEs, machine learning, etc., and is expected to seek external grant funding. This position is 100% grant-funded for two years and is contingent upon the availability of funds
and the period of the grant.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering (signal processing), biomedical engineering, hearing science, or a related field. Experience
in signal processing, MATLAB, Python, and computational modeling is desired.
