[AUDITORY] PhD studentship in cognitive neuroscience at Nottingham Trent University

Dear Auditory List,

The Department of Psychology at Nottingham Trent University has a fully-funded PhD studentship available! The project will use games to study auditory learning in an active, goal-oriented way. This will be paired with EEG to examine how learning shapes the encoding of sound in the brain.

NTU Psychology is the largest psychology department in the UK, with >150 staff from all disciplines of psychology, and a thriving community of cognitive, perceptual and neuroscience research. NTU was Guardian UK University of Year 2019 and Times and Sunday Times UK Modern University of Year 2022. Nottingham is one of those “just the right size” places; centrally located within the UK, with plenty of city life yet within easy reach of the countryside, including the beautiful Peak District.

The application deadline is 16/06/2023. If interested, please contact me (nathaniel.zuk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) or Chris Sumner (christian.sumner@xxxxxxxxx).
