Hello ISMIR community! This August, Iran Romain and I will be teaching a 2-week workshop at CCRMA (Stanford University) focusing on machine learning for Music Information Retrieval. (MIR). The course will run from August 8 - 19, with both in-person and online options. The course will be taught in two week-long sections. Week 1 will cover the basics (theory, math, implementation) of MIR and ML, as well as introduce deep learning for audio. Week 2 will cover state-of-the-art algorithms, with a focus on generative modeling. Each week can be taken separately.
