Subject: Research audiologist salary survey

Hi all,

Our institution has just undergone a massive overhaul and reclassification of our line of scientific staff positions (e.g., research assistant, research associate, etc.). These staff typically have terminal degrees and are doing research, but are not faculty and have no or little clinical and/or teaching duties. The classification of our research audiologists has been completely bungled by this process. And as a result, the salary bands are out of whack in my opinion (on the low end).

In an attempt to remedy this, we would like to collect the salaries (full time equivalent) of current research audiologists with either AuD and/or PhD preferably in the United States that are doing predominantly research. We will collate this information and keep details completely anonymous. We will then share the information with the LIST.
