Dear all,

We would like to invite you to participate to an online survey about the sonification of computer processes data. In the survey you will listen to some sonifications. The estimated maximal duration of the survey (after 12 participants) is about 20 minutes.

MAIN AIM OF THIS SURVEY
We are investigating how these sonifications are perceived and what these sounds can communicate. This online survey is part of the research project SONAO (Robust non-verbal expression in artificial agents: Identification and modelling of stylized gesture and sound cues). The SONAO project aims to improve the comprehensibility of robot non-verbal communication (NVC) using data-driven methods and physical acting styles. The aim is to compensate for limitations in robot communicative channels with and increased clarity of non-verbal communication (e.g. through gestures and non-verbal sounds).
