Position: The University of Illinois Department of Speech and Hearing Science (SHS) (http://shs.illinois.edu) is seeking to recruit an outstanding candidate for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track position as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Teaching Assistant Professor, with opportunity for advancement.
Proposed Starting Date: August 16, 2022.
Responsibilities: Contribute to didactic teaching needs in the undergraduate and clinical Au.D. program, develop and deliver online courses, and participate in departmental committees. There are also opportunities to contribute to collaborative research.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a terminal degree for clinical practice in Audiology or a Ph.D. in a related field and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). A minimum of 1 year of full-time (or equivalent) clinical experience is preferred. Experience with instruction of undergraduate and graduate students and experience with online course development is also preferred. Individuals with demonstrated interests in acoustics, amplification, aural rehabilitation, clinical business planning and management, educational audiology, medical audiology, psychoacoustics, and/or vestibular assessment and rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
