The Auditory Computation and Psychoacoustics Lab at the University of Salamanca (Spain) (http://audiolab.usal.es) in collaboration with Oticon Medical is seeking to fill a postdoctoral position, starting Jan 2022. The position is initially for one year, but it may be possible to extend it for up to four years. The aim of the project is to predict cochlear implant outcomes using computational models of auditory nerve responses to electrical stimulation. The position is funded by The William Demant Foundation.
Applicants must be EU nationals, have strong
programming and signal
processing skills, in-depth knowledge of hearing sciences in
general and
cochlear implants in particular, and a good command of English
language. Working knowledge of Spanish language is preferred but
not required.
