[AUDITORY] Second call for abstracts for the 3rd International Symposium on Music and Cochlear Implant Research

Dear Colleagues

This is a second reminder for abstracts for both podium and poster 
presentations for the 3rd International Symposium on Music and Cochlear 
Implants (deadline May 21st 2021 at midnight (CET)).

As an update, we will be having a hybrid event with a seamless merging 
of in-person and online interactions.  We really hope that you will join 
us (online or in person).  The meeting will be held on 15th and 16th 
September 2021 at St John’s College, Cambridge, UK.

Attendance will be free.  Due to space limitations, places will be 
prioritized for those presenting their work.

I would also like to draw to your attention to a portal for people using 
cochlear implants to upload video testimonials about their experiences 
of engaging with music through their cochlear implants.  The deadline 
for uploading the video testimonials is June 15th 2021 at 
http://www.implantsandmusic.net/3rd/testimonial/.  We will be offering 
travel grants for 5 individuals to attend the meeting to discuss their 
experiences.

We look forward to an exciting event with exchange and discussion of 
ideas and experiences.
