Dear List, We are looking for a part-time or project-based Unity/Unreal Developer to work on developing audiovisual environments for demonstrations for real-time audio enhancement. With AAVAA, you will be involved in building a unique listening device that allows everyone to hear what matters by processing their surrounding sounds based on input from their brain and biosignals. Our goal is to give people control of their auditory environment, enhance the sounds they want to hear, and suppress distracting noise. The position is available as early as January 4, 2021. Remote working solutions are possible, and physical presence at AAVAA offices will be possible as the COVID-19 situation evolves. Required: • Bug fixing, maintenance, and optimization of AR (Hololens, Magic Leap, etc.) and VR (Oculus, VIVE, Gear VR, etc.) algorithms • Strong integrated audiovisual Unity/Unreal programming experience • Software development for consumer devices, AR/VR headsets, etc. • Very good knowledge of C++ and C# • 5+ years of 3D game development • Understanding of audio technical concepts (mixing, sample rates, data compression, filters, reverberation, 3D positional audio, etc.) • Ability to write clean, simple, well-documented code Good to have: • Experience with audio programming (Max/MSP, Pure Data, Reaktor, etc.) • Hand-on experience with audio middleware (ex: Miles, FMOD, Wwise, etc.) • Ability to work in an agile environment • Passion for video games and artificial intelligence • Knowledge of using cloud platforms • Github Interested candidates should send a cover letter (max. 2 pages), a CV or resume, and contact information for 2 references to info@xxxxxxxxxxxx.
