[AUDITORY] Calling for parents of 7-11 year olds!

Dear all,

I am currently recruiting children to take part in a virtual study on the importance of understanding speech rhythm/ prosody cues as it relates to reading.

The study involves (1) a 10-15 minute video call (vocabulary task) and (2) two 20 minute computer games (listening and reading tasks).

If you know of any kiddos who may be interested in taking part you can sign them up, or find more information, at the link below. All English speaking children between the ages of 7 to 11 years old are eligible. In return for participation they may also receive a completion certificate and/or be entered into a raffle to win a goody bag prize:

As you may have guessed, this is an online adaptation of a study that was originally being carried out in school settings, but had to be changed due to covid-19 restrictions. Happy to talk about this process if anyone is interested.

Thank you so much!
