[AUDITORY] ABBA (Auditory Brown Bag At home): August 13, 10am and 10pm EST



Hello Auditory List,

We are excited to announce the presentations for the upcoming ABBA (Auditory Brown Bag At home) virtual talk series being held next Thursday, August 13th:

 

Session A at 10 AM Eastern Time (US)

Sara Lenzi (Density Design Lab Politecnico di Milano): “A designerly way of doing sonification: towards design-driven guidelines”

Sam Bilbow (Dept. Media Film & Music University of Sussex): “Audio Augmented Reality via Gestural Ambisonics” 

 

Session B at 10 PM Eastern Time (US) Rosa Park (San Francisco State University): "Tactile Audibility”


Carolina Pino (Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez) "Teaching NIME methodologies to designers and engineers"

Each talk will last 10-15 minutes, with breakout small group discussion sessions following the plenary session. Full abstracts can be found at: https://icad.org/abba-august-2020/

Before the meeting, registered attendees will receive a Zoom link via email. The registration is just to help us plan for the discussion and also to prevent Zoom bombing by unauthorized non-ICADers.
