Rhythm and Social Engagement in Toddlers with and without ASD
Position available for summer/fall 2020 start or until position is filled

Postdoctoral research fellow position in the Vanderbilt Music Cognition Lab (https://www.vumc.org/music-cognition-lab/) to develop and carryout federally-funded research assessing rhythm of social interaction and communication in young children with and without ASD. Assessment and intervention studies use a variety of behavioral and social neuroscience methods (e.g., eye-tracking, acoustics, movement coordination, standardized assessments, behavior/language coding) to investigate naturally occurring rhythmic communication such as infant-directed speech and song.
