Dear all, We have a position open for a post-doctoral researcher for an ongoing project on simulation of hearing impairment. The position has funding for 14 months. The project uses the Meddis’ physiological model of the auditory periphery (MAP) as a front end to a novel type of vocoder. The vocoder can be “impaired” in many different ways by interfering with the physiological model.
