Description: The Eaton-Peabody Laboratories (EPL) at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear (MEE) and the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Harvard Medical School seek applications
from researchers interested in hearing and deafness. MEE and EPL provide an interdisciplinary and collaborative intellectual environment within an active clinical setting, including 31 basic-science and clinical investigators studying hearing and balance.
MEE researchers hold faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and participate in teaching programs for graduate students, medical students and residents, at both Harvard and MIT, including the Program in Speech and Hearing & Bioscience and Technology.
Funds for generous start-up packages have been raised. We are seeking researchers taking cellular and/or molecular approaches to inner ear function/dysfunction. Candidates must have a PhD or MD and an outstanding record of postdoctoral research accomplishments.
Candidates should have a strong desire for research collaboration and an interest in considering the clinical implications of their basic science discoveries. Initial evaluation will take place in February of 2020, however applications will be accepted until
