[AUDITORY] Postdoc: Using humanoid robots for rehabilitation of hearing-impaired children

Dear Auditory List,

We have a new postdoc project that involves both psychophysics and robots!

We have a NAO humanoid robot, “Sam”, that we would like to use as an interface to conduct scientific experiments involving voice and speech perception with children with hearing loss. We also want to explore if we can utilize Sam for training for improving voice and speech perception.

Please find more details at the link below, and could you pass it to your students/lab members?

Thank you in advance,
Cheers,
Deniz Baskent
Also on behalf of Laura Rachman, Etienne Gaudrain
