Department of Otolaryngology has a full-time position available
for a Post-Doctoral
Research Audiologist to join a dynamic team that includes basic
and
translational scientists, audiologists, and surgeons. The position will involve
participating in an
NIH-Brain-Initiative funded clinical trial to test an innovative
tinnitus treatment
paradigm with adult tinnitus subjects at the Kresge Hearing
Research Institute. Responsibilities
include audiological, psychophysical and psychosocial testing
under approved research protocols and pre- and post-treatment
assessment. Responsibilities
will also include participation
in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of research
results. Required
Qualifications: Aud. Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. in a hearing-related field and previous research experience is highly desirable. Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology, awarded by the American Speech and Hearing Association is desirable.
