Applications are invited for a three-year PhD studentship funded by Loughborough University, UK. The project will be based within the School of Sports, Exercise and Health Sciences, which has an excellent international reputation for teaching
and research across a diverse range of disciplines. The successful applicant will work alongside Dr Maidment and Prof Hogervorst to conduct world-leading research investigating hearing loss across the lifespan, sports participation and mental health. Entry requirements: Applicants should have, or expect to achieve, at least a 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent) in Psychology or a related subject. A relevant Master’s degree and/or experience in Research Methods will be an advantage. It is also desirable
that students have knowledge of statistics, qualitative analyses and behavioural testing.
Funding information: The studentship is for 3 years and is intended to start on the 1st October 2019. The studentship provides a tax-free stipend of £14,777 per annum for the duration of the studentship plus tuition fees at the UK/EU rate. International (non
EU) students may apply however, the total value of the studentship will cover the International Tuition Fee only.
