dear all, we have a set of data on whether and how certain structural characteristics of 5-tone sequences (no. of melodic direction changes, ascending vs. descending character, small vs. large pitch intervals etc.) affect immediate short-term memory (STM) recognition. we also vary type of interference btw item exposure to test (which is either 2AFC or a same-different test with strictly same-contour lures) with a silent or filled interval (of various kinds). now we are curious as to how robust our findings are, i. e., how well they replicate across different labs. I guess we would have to do a pre-registration but I am in the dark as to how to include volunteering labs to run it (maybe in return of us running someone else’s project?). I am aware of multi-lab projects which start a multiple replication endeavor right from start, but we have not been in such a network when we started out, so I am not sure whether this is a possible endeavor to begin with. I would appreciate any comments and suggestions, possibly sent to me personally to not burden the mail list. thanks, esra mungan Esra Mungan Bogazici University Psychology Dept.
