Dear list, My research group (Translational Hearing Science) at the Bionics Institute in Melbourne has two senior positions available.
1. Senior/Principal Research Fellow. This is leadership appointment (initially funded for 5 years) for a person with a strong track record who wants to establish their own research program and lead its translation into patient benefit through changes to clinical practice or commercialisation. 2. Senior Development Engineer - signal processing. This is a 2-year appointment to join our development team for EarGenie, a novel hearing assessment system that combines fNIRS and EEG measurements. This role is for development of novel signal processing algorithms that derive clinical information about hearing status and speech discrimination from the physiological signals. This is a unique opportunity to see your research translated into a working prototype and onwards towards commercialisation.
