[AUDITORY] POSTDOCTORAL POSITION: COCHLEAR IMPLANT CLINICAL RESEARCH, HANNOVER GERMANY

The ENT Department of the Hannover Medical School is seeking a PostDoc (physics, biology, electrical engineering or comparable), ideally with experience in the field of audiology. The position is industry funded.

Position Overview/Purpose:

- Support of clinical research projects in the fields of cochlear implant sound coding strategies, clinical care and audiological fitting, surgical techniques, as well as product validation studies

- Authoring of internal reports and publications for conferences and peer-reviewed journals

- Managing clinical research projects, to ensure delivery against time and budget with all risks effectively managed

Key requirements:

- PhD level degree in medicine, science, or engineering

- 3 years of experience in a research field involving clinical research

- Demonstrated ability to author scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals in English

- Fluent in German and English

The hired individual will have a unique opportunity to work with clinicians, researchers, regulatory personnel, and industry personnel from Hannover Medical School (including the German Hearing Center (DHZ), Hannover Clinical Trial Center and Cochlear Limited (Australia)).

The position includes an initial appointment of 2 years. The position is a full-time position with 38.5 hours/ week and a salary that is dependent on personal qualification according to the German salary scales TV-L.
