Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) Position:
Cognitive Psychology / Cognitive Neuroscience
The Department of Psychology at Carnegie
Mellon University anticipates making a cluster of tenure-track appointments at
the Assistant Professor level over the coming years. We are interested in
candidates with a strong grounding in psychological theory,
cutting-edge methods and research programs, high-quality teaching, and
strong quantitative skills. We are currently seeking applicants in the areas
of Cognitive / Cognitive Neuroscience.

a mechanistic understanding of cognitive processes, and are particularly
interested in research that combines multiple methodologies, including neural
and computational approaches. The Department of Psychology is central to
the university's expanding efforts in multidisciplinary neuroscience-related
research, and has particularly strong ties to the new Carnegie Mellon

Statistics and Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning,
and Computer Science.
