May I please draw your attention to the above interesting workshop, to be held as a satellite of INTERSPEECH this year.

The workshop on speech processing for voice, speech and hearing disorders (WSPD, link: http://wspd.co.in) has a broad, interdisciplinary scope and paper submission is still open.

The two-day workshop features invited talks by several renowned researchers in the field of speech and language processing. In addition, the technical program consists of oral and poster sessions, showcasing the research articles accepted for presentation.

As an additional bonus, the workshop will be hosted in Mysore, a breathtakingly beautiful tourist destination, steeped in southern-Indian tradition and blessed with pleasant weather and mild temperatures throughout the year.

The areas of interest for WSPD2018 include, but are not limited to:

• Speech enhancement for hearing aids

• Music processing for cochlear implant subjects

• Voice disorders

• Cleft lip and palate speech analysis

• Hypernasality

• Quality and intelligibility in case of pathological speech

• Stuttering

• Dysarthria

• Signal processing for cochlear implants

• Consumer electronics for better speaking and hearing

• Enhancement of cleft lip and palate speech

• Technological aids for improving spoken language communication
